As your pastor, it is my joy to invite you into the heart of our parish life. We, the parish family and stewards of the Cathedral of the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph, invite all under the gold dome to celebrate the Eucharist, serve our guests in need, grow in the Catholic faith, and proclaim the Gospel of Christ. This mission grounds everything we do—from our sacred liturgies to our outreach ministries, from our formation programs to the warm welcome we strive to offer each person who walks through our doors.

Our values reflect the role entrusted to us: as the mother church of the diocese, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is the spiritual, prophetic, and physical symbol of Catholic presence in the Kansas City area. With this great responsibility comes a great joy—to be a visible sign of Christ’s love, hope, and truth in the heart of our city.
